GROUP LESSONS
Attending Perfect Paws U group class provides your dog with valuable social skills. We encourage dogs to meet and greet the other people in class and to allow time for puppies to play together.
Once you register for our group classes, we encourage you to contact us at any time during the 6 week session with questions or concerns. We feel it is important for you to address dog-training issues as they occur rather than having to wait until your next class for resolve.
AKC STAR PUPPY KINDERGARTEN
AKC STAR PUPPY Certified class by the American Kennel Club. This award (not an official title) signifies that a puppy has completed the course and pasted the test for a STAR Puppy. Please visit www.akc.org to learn more about the CGC test. Prior obedience training and evaluation is necessary.
CANINE GOOD CITIZEN
CGC Preparation and Testing prepares dogs to take their Canine Good Citizen test. If they pass the test, they receive the CGC award from the American Kennel Club. This award (not an official title) signifies that a dog is trustworthy in public and is under his handler’s control at all times. Please visit www.akc.org to learn more about the CGC test. Prior obedience training and evaluation is necessary.
If you cannot attend a class because of a schedule conflict, you can make it up at another time. PRIVATE LESSONS
If you dog’s unwanted behavior includes counter-surfing, door-dashing, jumping on the furniture, chewing the rugs or pulling you around the block, in-home instruction can address the problem exactly where it happens: at home! Our private lessons are tailored to your individual needs to make the most of your time spent with us.
Some dogs cannot handle the stress of being in a strange room with a group of other dogs. Sometimes clients cannot focus on our instruction while trying to calm a stressed dog, making an unpleasant visit for both dog and handler. In-home training takes this variable out of the picture.
We plan sessions to accommodate your family’s schedule so that everyone can participate. In-home instruction is an efficient and economical way to address your specific training requirements.
Please call for the fee for private in-home instruction. Mileage charge will apply. Each in-home visit must be paid in full the day of our appointment.
